Culion Foundation's TB-ACF (Active Case Finding) initiative in the National Capital Region (NCR) has achieved remarkable success, surpassing its quarterly targets and making a significant impact on the healthcare landscape. The foundation's dedicated efforts in eight key cities - Muntinlupa, Navotas, Taguig, Mandaluyong, Pasig, Valenzuela, Manila, and Pasay - have resulted in the screening of 11,506 patients. Notably, the program has prioritized vulnerable groups, such as senior citizens, PLHIV (People Living with HIV), immunocompromised individuals, smokers, and those experiencing symptoms.

The Culion Foundation's TB-ACF program commenced in the NCR with the aim of detecting TB cases early, particularly among vulnerable populations, to ensure effective treatment and limit disease transmission. This achievement highlights the effectiveness and efficiency of the program, as well as the dedication of the teams involved.

One of the key strengths of Culion Foundation's TB-ACF program is its focus on prioritizing vulnerable groups. These include senior citizens, people living with HIV (PLHIV), immunocompromised individuals, smokers, and those presenting with TB-like symptoms. By proactively targeting these at-risk populations, the foundation has demonstrated its commitment to reducing health disparities and ensuring equitable access to healthcare services.

Among the eight cities covered by the TB-ACF program, Pasay City stands out for its exceptional performance. In a total of 26 ACF events, the city screened a remarkable 3,992 patients. This achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of the healthcare teams in Pasay City and highlights the importance of local support and collaboration for successful public health initiatives.
