Oplan Manunuyod

  • Area of implementation: Rodriguez, Rizal
  • Oplan Manunuyod aims to strengthen tuberculosis infection (TBI) management in Region IV-A, one of the most densely populated regions in the Philippines. The initiative intends to increase TB preventive therapy (TPT) coverage by training members of community-based organizations (CBOs) as community navigators to assist in TBI program implementation at selected Rural Health Units (RHUs). This is in collaboration with the Center for Health Development - Region IV-A (CHD IV-A) and aligns with the Department of Health’s National Tuberculosis Control Program (NTP) and strategic goals for TB elimination. The project addresses gaps in the TB care cascade caused by workforce overload and aims to support health workers, improve service delivery, and contribute to sustainable TB prevention through community partnerships and stakeholder engagement.
