The Kaybagal barangays, North, South, and East, share a rich history and occupy a strategic position in the heart of Tagaytay City. Over time, particularly in Kaybagal South, the area has evolved into a growing urban center driven by improved infrastructure, increasing population, and expanding local economic activity.
Culion Foundation, Inc. conducted Active Case Finding (ACF) in line with Tagaytay Cityโs World Health Day celebration to strengthen community-based health services. During the activity, the NTP nurse facilitated Tuberculin Skin Testing, while the CHO staff provided STI and HIV screening and counseling, with participants availing of the service. The event also highlighted collaborative public health efforts through integrated screening and awareness activities.
In recognition of its continued partnership in advancing public health programs, CFI was honored with the โKatuwang na Institusyonโ award during the World Health Day celebration. This recognition reflects the strong collaboration between partners and health offices in delivering accessible and community-centered healthcare services. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Center for Health Development IV-A (CHD 4A), Provincial Department of Health Office (PDOHO), Provincial Health Office (PHO), Local Government Unit of Tagaytay (Tagaytay LGU), Tagaytay City Health Office, PBSP ACCESS TB and all partners and community members whose collective efforts made this activity possible.
