Vitamin Supplementation

Areas of Implementation: Coron, and Culion, Palawan
To address the problem of malnutrition in children in pregnant women, CFI implements a supplementation distribution program dedicated to provide target areas with Vitamin A supplements and deworming tablets for children aged 1-59 months, and Multiple Micronutrient Supplements to pregnant women. This is done in cooperation with Vitamin Angels, a global public health non-profit organization dedicated to address malnutrition by improving maternal & child nutrition in underserved communities worldwide. The project is currently being implemented in two (2) key areas in Palawan, namely Coron and Culion, Palawan.
