Urban Health Project in Parañaque and Valenzuela

The Urban Health Project Team of Culion Foundation Inc. (CFI) with support from the World Health Organization (WHO) and KOFIH recently distributed 18 sound systems, 645 water containers, 100,000 pieces of facemasks, and 2 water pumps to fourteen (14) Urban poor communities, five (5) health centers, and eight schools in three Barangays of Paranaque City namely Vitalez, Sto. Niño and Moonwalk, and two Barangays in Valenzuela City namely Marulas and Malinta.

The support aims to enhance healthy behaviors and strengthen health literacy in our communities and eventually, mitigate the adverse effects of COVID-19 and other related diseases.

The assistance and tools will help us in our pursuit of HEALTH for All! Together we can because we are STRONGER together!

Thank you to our health team and Barangay officials in the two cities.

The Urban Health Project team has been working in the two cities since May 2022 and will continue working in the cities up to December 2022 to cover some identified activities with the unending support of the LGU of Paranaque, Valenzuela, Department of Health, World Health Organization and KOFIH.
