On August 31, 2002, at Brgy. Osmeña, Culion, Palawan, CFI took proactive steps towards sustainable coastal resource management through the establishment of a Community-Based Distribution System. This initiative empowered local stakeholders such as fisherfolk, farmers, and community members to collaboratively manage and protect valuable marine resources. By fostering responsible stewardship, the project aimed to ensure the long-term sustainability of our coastal environment, while enhancing the livelihoods of the community.
