The environmental restoration efforts in Coron, Palawan, have taken a step forward with a recent site visit by Mr. Jayson Pascua, the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Officer of Culion Foundation, Inc. Mr. Pascua’s visit focused on assessing the effectiveness of the ongoing mangrove reforestation projects funded by GCash.
During his visit, Mr. Pascua conducted thorough evaluations of the reforested mangrove areas, aiming to gauge the progress and impact of the restoration activities. These efforts are crucial in restoring degraded coastal ecosystems, enhancing biodiversity, and providing natural protection against coastal erosion.
