CFI wraps up TB screening in Sorsogon, reinforces commitment to community health
Culion Foundation, Inc. has successfully concluded its active case finding (ACF) initiative in Sorsogon Province for April 2025. A total of 3,668 individuals were screened for tuberculosis as part of the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to improve access to essential health services.
The screening campaign was carried out by the ACF team based in the Bicol Region, who worked in close coordination with local Rural Health Units and Local Government Units. Their support and cooperation played a vital role in reaching communities and ensuring that individuals received timely care and follow-up.
The TB ACF in Sorsogon was made possible through CFI’s partnership with the Department of Health (DOH), the various local government units of the province, and the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP).
