CFI Showcases Significant Progress in TB Active Case Finding at PBSP Project Implementation Review

CFI’s Senior Program Manager, Dr. Maria Julieta Recidoro, together with TB Technical Coordinator, Mary Joy Sebastian, and TB ACF Region IV-A Regional Team Leader, Duane Mojica, presented CFI’s accomplishments on TB Active Case Finding (ACF) Project at the Project Implementation Review (PIR) of PBSP held from September 23-25, 2024 at Thunderbird Resort in La Union. The event was organized by PBSP ACCESS TB Project and various partners such as NTP/DPCB, NTRL, USAID, World Health Organization (WHO), selected CHDs, LGUs, PHILCAT, and ACF contractors.
As one of the ACF contractors, CFI presented its programmatic accomplishments from January to August 2024, along with its catch-up plans for the October to December period. Despite facing challenges in implementation, particularly in NCR and Region 5, CFI’s improved performance was recognized by PBSP, reflecting significant progress in its efforts.
