In partnership with the Municipal Health Office of Manito and the Barangay Council of Pawa, CFI assisted in the launching of the PuroKalusugan Program in Manito, Albay on May 6, 2025.
PuroKalusugan, a flagship initiative of the Department of Health (DOH), brings essential health services directly to communities through barangay-level implementation. It aims to reduce health disparities and improve access to care for underserved populations.
CFI, through the support of Philippine Business for Social Progress, expresses its commitment to support local implementation by providing free chest x-ray services, contributing to early detection of diseases such as tuberculosis. The initiative underscores the shared vision between local government units and civil society partners in advancing universal healthcare in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas.
