𝗖𝗙𝗜, 𝗠𝗟𝗟𝗣 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗭𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗕
An inspiring day of movement, unity, and health awareness set forth as the Culion Foundation, Inc. and Montalban Laban Lungs Philippines (MLLP) successfully led a nationwide simultaneous Zumba dance and competition to raise awareness about tuberculosis (TB) and promote healthy lungs at Montalban Sports Complex, Rodriguez, Rizal last March 24, 2025.
With the unwavering support from DOH CHD -CALABARZON, Provincial Health Office, Provincial DOH Office, the Local Government Unit and Municipal Health Office of Rodriguez, Rizal, and the Fundacion Vicente Ferrer, CFI, and MLLP actively gathered Community Navigators and other participants of 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗕 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗧: 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗴𝘀, 𝗦𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘄 𝗞𝗮 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗴𝘀 Zumba event in fighting and raising awareness about TB through rhythmic Zumba dances.
Heartfelt stories shared by Ma’am Haidee, a Community Navigator, and Tatay Eduardo, a household contact who had successfully undergone TB Preventive Treatment, highlighted the importance of TB prevention and treatment. These personal testimonies were followed by a pledge of commitment to fight TB, signed by key health leaders and advocates.
