During the 3rd General Assembly of CFI-supported Peoples Organizations (POs) on June 3–4, 2026, Irene Reston, President of Liga ng mga Barangay in Culion, Palawan, reminded participants that strong communities are built not only through development projects but also through kindness, trust, cooperation, and compassion.
Her message reflects the heart of CFI’s mission over the past five decades: lasting change begins with people who choose to care for one another. As CFI celebrates its Golden Anniversary, her words remind us that every act of kindness strengthens the communities we call home.
