On March 2, 2026, the NCR TB Active Case Finding (ACF) Team joined the celebration of Leprosy Control Week at the Aguilar Sports Complex in Brgy. Pilar, Las Piรฑas City, strengthening the collective effort to detect and address infectious diseases at the community level.
Through the collaboration of DOHโMMCHD, the NCR-ACF Team, the Las Piรฑas City LGU, the Las Piรฑas City Health Office, and community partners, the activity successfully screened 251 individuals for tuberculosis, bringing essential TB services closer to residents of Barangay Pilar and nearby communities.
Initiatives like these demonstrate how integrated community health efforts can expand access to screening, promote early detection, and ensure that no one is left behind in the fight against TB and other infectious diseases. Together, we continue to move closer toward healthier, empowered communities.
