Culion Foundation, Inc. proudly joined partners from the Department of Health, the City Government of Las Piñas Philippine Dermatological Society, and the leprosy community in the celebration of Leprosy Control Week 2026 at the Aguilar Sports Complex. The event brought together health leaders, advocates, and Persons Affected by Leprosy (PALs) to strengthen partnerships and renew our shared commitment to eliminating leprosy.

Beyond the program, the celebration fostered meaningful engagement through interactive games and activities that encouraged participation and strengthened community bonds. Participants were also able to access initial health check-ups and services during the Health Services Walkthrough, promoting early detection and care. As part of our continued support for community health and dignity, Culion Foundation distributed hygiene kits, including soaps donated by the Foundation, to help promote proper hygiene and well-being.

Moments like these remind us that ending leprosy requires more than treatment; it calls for community action, compassion, and sustained collaboration. Together, we move closer to a future where leprosy is detected early, treated promptly, and free from stigma.
