CFI Executive Director Eugenio M. Caccam, Jr. delivered a virtual inspirational message during the 𝘔𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪-𝘊𝘢𝘥𝘳𝘦 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘗𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘯: 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘉 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘐𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 held in Coron, Palawan. In his message, he emphasized the critical role of contact investigation and Tuberculosis Preventive Treatment (TPT) in advancing the country’s efforts to end TB.
The three-day training brought together doctors, nurses, midwives, and Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) to strengthen their knowledge and skills in TB contact investigation and TPT. Through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on activities, participants gained practical tools to support early detection, prevention, and quality TB care in their communities.
By empowering frontline health workers, we move one step closer to a TB-free Philippines.
