The Culion Foundation’s ACF Bicol Team continues to serve the people of Albay and Camarines Sur with free chest x-rays. This activity centres on particular groups that have a greater prevalence of tuberculosis (TB), such as elderly people, people in congregate areas, and household contacts of known TB patients.
Our team’s goal is to consistently find people who are not receiving healthcare yet have the potential to develop tuberculosis. By doing this, the community will be able to decrease transmission and obtain the necessary resources.
