Today, September 2, 2026, CFI brings TB screening, TB education, and essential health services closer to the community of Barangay Almanza Dos, Las Piñas City in celebration of National Lung Month.
With this year’s Las Piñas City carrying the theme, “Yes, We can End TB! — Led by countries, Powered by people,” we are reminded that every person has a role to play in ending TB. Every screening helps people know their TB status, access care early, and take steps to protect their families and communities.
Through community-based services, we continue to bring TB screening closer to where people live, work, and gather, making essential health services more accessible to those who need them most.
This effort is made possible through the support of the City Government of Las Piñas, City Health Office, Department of Health – Metro Manila Center for Health Development, and PBSP ACCESS TB Project, working alongside community partners and health workers.
Together, let’s work toward a healthier, stronger, and TB-free Las Piñas.
