𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗲𝗲𝘀
Culion Foundation Inc., together with partner agencies, delivered essential health services to families at the Tent City Evacuation Center in Brgy. San Jose, Malilipot, Albay on February 10, 2026, through the Purok Kalusugan initiative spearheaded by the Bicol Center for Health Development (CHD) and the RHU of Malilipot.
Displaced by the recent activities of Mt. Mayon evacuees received medical consultations, health education, preventive services, and basic medicines to ensure continued access to quality healthcare. Culion Foundation Inc. conducted free chest X-ray screenings for tuberculosis detection, while Gayon Albay LGBT Organization, Inc. provided free HIV screening to promote early diagnosis and prevention. The Albay Provincial Health Office and Bicol CHD strengthened the effort through health education services, and the Malilipot Municipal Police Station conducted orientations on Public Safety and VAWC.
This collaborative effort, together with the Local Government Unit of Malilipot, DSWD ROV, and PBSP, reflects a shared commitment to protecting the health, safety, and well-being of the affected community.
