A classroom is more than four walls and a set of chairs. It is where students learn, connect, discover their strengths, and begin imagining what they can become.
Through the Seat of Hope Project of Isla Lipana & Co., 150 new armchairs found their way into three schools in Culion, Palawan. Alongside these donations, Culion Foundation, Inc. provided paint and painting materials to help refresh their learning spaces.
But this story is more than a classroom makeover. It is a story of partnershipโfrom the generosity of Isla Lipana & Co., to the efforts of CFI, the LGU of Culion, Peoples Organizations, and the schools themselves, all working together to make these spaces more welcoming for students.
And perhaps the best way to see what these new spaces mean is to hear from the students and school principals themselves. ๐
From spaces to learning placesโmaking room to learn, grow, and dream.
