Building on the success of its previous activity in West Rembo, Culion Foundation, Inc. continued its Active Case Finding efforts in Taguig City as part of the Department of Health's Lab for All Campaign.
The CFI team set up at the Eladia Covered Court in North Signal, bringing free chest X-ray services directly to the community. A total of 206 individuals were screened, with presumptive TB patients guided for further evaluation and care.
This back-to-back screening activity was made possible through the continued collaboration of the Department of Health, Taguig City Health Office, Barangay North Signal, the dedicated team of Culion Foundation, Inc., and in partnership with PBSP ACCESS TB Project.
With over 400 residents screened in two consecutive days in Taguig, these efforts demonstrate the power of sustained community outreach. By bringing services closer to the people, CFI reaffirms its commitment to early detection, timely support, and building healthier, TB-free communities.
