As part of its 50th Anniversary celebration, Culion Foundation, Inc. successfully conducted a Quiz Bee and Poster-Making Contest for elementary and high school students from across Culion, Palawan, on June 1, 2026, at Balala Elementary School.
The activity provided a platform for 81 students to demonstrate their knowledge, creativity, and critical thinking skills while promoting learning and healthy competition among the youth. These activities reaffirm CFI's commitment to investing in the education and development of future generations and empowering communities through partnership and shared purpose.
CFI extends its sincere gratitude to its partners and supporters who contributed to the success of the activity, including the Municipality of Culion, Senator Risa Hontiveros for her generous donation of school supplies distributed to all participating students, Balala Elementary School, Department of Education-Culion, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Parish Youth Ministry, Business Owners Support Group - Culion (BOSG), teachers, coaches, parents, and guardians.
The event highlighted the value of collaboration among local government units, educational institutions, community organizations, and development partners in creating meaningful opportunities for young learners.
