This activity commenced with patient registration, logistics preparation, and individual interviews facilitated by RHU staff, barangay health workers, and the ACF team. CFI conducted free chest X-rays, while Bicol CHD also provided free chest X-ray services for children aged 2 to 14 years. A brief orientation and TB health talk were conducted before the chest X-ray procedures, while CFI and Bicol CHD representatives paid a courtesy call to the Mayor, who shared updates on the municipality’s planned X-ray laboratory and RHU renovation.
The ACF activity resulted in the collection of 27 sputum samples from patients with suspicious findings. Simultaneously, the Tiwi Rural Health Unit offered free HIV screening to participants during the activity. The event concluded with the participants completing the attendance and receiving tokens before being advised to return home.
