As part of its 50th Anniversary celebration, Culion Foundation, Inc. (CFI) conducted 𝗛𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗱 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗮 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮-𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻, 𝗧𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗴-𝗮𝘀𝗮 at Malaking Patag Elementary School on June 3, 2026, bringing essential health services closer to underserved communities.
The medical and dental mission served 𝟮𝟴𝟭 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 from Malaking Patag and neighboring barangays through free medical and dental consultations, medicines and vitamins, hygiene kits, food packs, one kilogram of rice, and eyeglasses for beneficiaries requiring vision support.
This initiative was made possible through the collective efforts of volunteer healthcare professionals, the Culion Rural Health Unit, Barangay Health Workers, local government partners, and Malaking Patag Elementary School. CFI also extends its heartfelt gratitude to Unilab Foundation, Mercury Drug Foundation, Inc., TVP Dental B, Pascual Laboratories, the various partners in Metro Manila, and the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) for their generous support, which helped expand the reach of the mission.
As CFI celebrates 50 years of service, Hatid Lunas sa Culion reflects the Foundation's enduring commitment to making quality healthcare more accessible. It is a reminder that when organizations, health workers, volunteers, and communities come together, compassion is transformed into care that reaches those who need it most.
