Taguig City is widely known as one of Metro Manila's fastest-growing urban centers, home to bustling business districts and vibrant residential communities. Beyond its role as an economic hub, the city is also becoming a vital space for initiatives that uplift community health.
Culion Foundation, Inc., in support of the Department of Health's Lab for All Campaign, brought its Active Case Finding activity to West Rembo, making tuberculosis screening more accessible to residents. A total of 198 individuals were screened through free chest X-ray services, with presumptive TB patients guided for further evaluation and care.
The activity that was conducted at the West Rembo Sports Complex was made possible through the strong collaboration of the Department of Health, Taguig City Health Office, Barangay West Rembo, the dedicated team of Culion Foundation, Inc., and in partnership with PBSP ACCESS TB Project.
By bringing services closer to the people, this initiative highlights the importance of early detection, timely support, and community partnership. Just as Taguig powers progress across the metro, efforts like these help empower healthier, stronger, and TB-free communities.
