On March 5, 2026, Culion Foundation Inc. (CFI) and Children International Philippines, Inc. (CIPI) formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement at Norfil Foundation, Inc. Building.
In his welcome address, CIPI Director Dr. Christian F. Gomez highlighted that both organizations originated from humble beginnings in places of isolation. The partnership is therefore symbolic, demonstrating a shared mission to promote child health and development.
True to the development sector’s core belief that the best way to achieve one’s goals is to use each other’s resources, CFI Executive Director Eugenio M. Caccam, Jr. reaffirmed CFI’s commitment to collaboration. Through its partnership with CIPI, CFI is strengthening its WASH program, ensuring children grow up healthy, and building the foundation for a more productive and socially responsible generation.
As part of the collaboration, CIPI generously donated 1,000 boxes of soap to CFI for distribution, reinforcing hygiene and sanitation in communities.
