CFI conducted ACF in Infanta, Quezon, bringing essential TB services directly to the barangays.
A total of 414 individuals were screened, resulting in 64 presumptive TB cases, underscoring the importance of early detection and timely intervention at the community level.
Located along the Pacific and often exposed to strong typhoons and flooding, Infanta continues to demonstrate resilienceโnot only in facing natural disasters, but also in proactively addressing public health challenges such as tuberculosis.
This effort was made possible through the strong partnership among the Philippine Business for Social Progress, Department of Health Center for Health Development, Quezon Provincial Health Office, Quezon Provincial Department of Health Office, Infanta Rural Health Unit, and the Local Government Unit of Infanta.
More than a service delivery effort, the initiative reflects Infantaโs continued commitment to protecting community health through proactive and accessible TB care.
