The TB ACF Team 4-A journeyed to Polillo, Quezon to strengthen access to TB screening and care across several barangays, working hand in hand with local partners and community members.
Through this outreach, 478 residents were screened and provided with free chest X-rays, while 83 individuals with possible TB symptoms received further evaluation and care. Tokens of appreciation were also given as a small gesture of gratitude for the communityโs trust and participation.
Beyond providing health services, the activity fostered meaningful connections with local leaders, barangay health workers, and families; reinforcing the shared goal that every community, no matter how remote, deserves accessible and quality healthcare. Together with our partners, we continue advancing TB prevention, early detection, and care for healthier communities.
