𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻!
On April 30, 2025, Culion Foundation’s ongoing Active Case Finding (ACF) activity in Castilla, Sorsogon received a major boost with the deployment of a new mobile X-ray unit launched by the Department of Health – Bicol Center for Health Development (DOH Bicol CHD) and the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP).
This newly launched mobile health unit doesn’t just offer free chest X-rays, but it also plans to provide electrocardiogram (ECG) tests for individuals aged 40 and above, and chest X-rays for children aged 14 and below. These expanded services reflect a growing commitment to early detection and accessible health care for all age groups.
This milestone was made possible through a strong collaboration between PBSP, Culion Foundation, Inc., and the Local Government Unit of Castilla. Together, we continue to bring life-saving health services directly to communities, especially where they are needed most.
