CFI, together with Baldat Fishermen and Farmers Association (BAFFA) conducted a livelihood project monitoring and evaluation in Sitio Coring, Barangay Carabao, and Sitio Berg, Barangay Binudac in Culion, Palawan.
As part of the GForest Project, a Solar Charging Station and Starlink WiFi Station were established in Sitio Coring, managed by the Coring Eco-warriors Association, a CFI-convened Peopleโ€™s Organization (PO). Additionally, a sari-sari store was granted to the Tagbanua PO, the โ€œNurunutan yโ€™ang Tagbanuang Manigyan yโ€™ang Sitio Bergโ€, in Sitio Berg to support local economic activities.
CFI and BAFFA continue to monitor these initiatives to ensure progress and sustainability, in line with the EmPOwer to Sustain Program, which strengthens POs toward long-term resilience and self-sufficiency.
