Ms. Dolina Tabla Advocates for Health Initiatives at BCCL District Health Board Meeting in Coron, Palawan

Look: Ms. Dolina Tabla, our head of the Community Development Program, participated in the Busuanga-Coron-Culion-Linapacan (BCCL) Health Zone District Health Board meeting on March 22, 2024, at the Municipal Health Office in Coron, Palawan. The presiding officers, Mayor Emil T. Neri of Linapacan – Chairman of BCCL Health Zone, and Dr. Charlie O. Tejada (MHO – Linapacan) – Executive Director of BCCL Health Zone led the meeting and focused the presentations regarding the approval of CFI’s membership in the District Health Board as Civil Society Organization (CSO) representative, the approval of BCCL District Health Assistance Program (DHAP) Manual Of Procedure (MOP), BCCL Health Zone Referral MOP, and the BCCL Blood Services Program MOP.
Moreover, the meeting also focused on reviewing the updates regarding the BCCL Volunteer Health Workers (VHW) Convention by July 2024 hosted by Coron, the opening of BCCL HZ Trust Account & Transfer of Funds, and the formulation of BCCL HZ work & 2024 Financial Plan.
The offices that attended the meeting were the Busuanga Municipal Health Office, Culion MHO, Coron MHO, Linapacan SB on Health, Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital (CSGH), Provincial Health Office, Coron District Hospital, DOH – Provincial Department of Health Office (DOH – PDOHO), Linapacan Doctors To The Barrios (DTTB), Culion DTTB, and the Coron-Culion-Busuanga-Linapacan Municipal Local Government Operations Office (MLGOO).
