Culion Foundation, Inc. TB ACF Team Receives Service Award for Outstanding Contributions in Tuberculosis Active Case Finding in the Municipality of Cavinti, Laguna.

On the 4th of August 2023 at the 9th Sambalilo Festival, the Culion Foundation, Inc. TB ACF Team has been a recipient of a service award for their exceptional efforts and significant contributions as partners of the local government unit in providing free TB screening. This recognition highlights their unwavering commitment to combatting TB and improving public health outcomes.

During the awarding ceremonies at the Cavinti Sports Complex, Municipal Mayor Arrantlee Arroyo and Municipal Administrator Vina Lorraine Orolfo handed the plaque and certificate of appreciation to CFI representatives Hanadee Galano and Karlo David for the dedication of the CALABARZON team in delivering the services of the organization.

The awarding ceremony also features all partners and public officials who have given their tireless efforts of developing and enriching the Municipality of Cavinti. Furthermore, locals who graduated as professionals were also given their spotlight as awardees. Among other service awardees, partners who are also present include Americares PH, Angels of Hope USA, Gardenia Bakeries Philippines, Inc., Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, Inc., the Philippine Coast Guard, PAG-IBIG, and the National Power Corporation.

As a partner of the local community, accepting the award puts emphasis and validation to our field staff. It represents us as a stronger organization where employees are motivated and delighted to further improve their performance. Looking at a bigger picture, carrying this award will attract more communities to conduct and deliver our service – a stepping stone on achieving the goals of ACF.

To Hon. Godfrey Lubuguin as the main person to recognize the service of CFI, Municipal Administrator Vina Lorraine Orosco for handing the award, and to the whole Municipality of Cavinti, led by Municipal Mayor Arrantlee Arroyo, this award represents our continuous partnership on achieving our ultimate goal to end TB in the community. This is to acknowledge your recognition for trusting the foundation to be a part of improving the overall health of your people.
