CFI met with Hon. Noel E. Rosal, Governor of Albay, on February 23, 2026, to reaffirm its commitment to supporting the people of Albay. Governor Rosal expressed his appreciation for CFIโs continued partnership and contributions to the provinceโs health initiatives.
CFI also held a strategic dialogue with the Provincial Health Office, led by Officer-in-Charge Provincial Health Officer Dr. Karl Hegel M. Ante, to discuss strengthening the implementation of the Active Case Finding (ACF) project.
A key focus of the discussion was integrating tuberculosis screening with paragonimiasis screening, the latter an emerging health concern in the province, to enhance diagnostic accuracy and ensure timely, appropriate treatment. The two institutions discussed potential areas of technical and programmatic support to advance this initiative.
The meeting underscores CFIโs commitment to working closely with local government partners to enhance access to quality healthcare services across Albay.
